Winners of two MBSA Low Carbon Awards

NEAPOLI’s landmark project LAMAN PKNS, also known as the new Headquarters of Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) was again recognised for its exceptional energy & environmental performance, by the MBSA Low Carbon Awards (Anugerah Rendah Karbon), organised by the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA). LAMAN PKNS received two out of the four MBSA Low Carbon Awards namely for the Low Carbon Building and the Low Carbon Innovation categories. This was the fifth award for LAMAN PKNS in 2017, having previously won two Citiscape awards in Dubai and the Gold award from the Malaysian Institute of Architects. 

The awards were presented on November the 22nd by Shah Alam’s Mayor Y.Bhg Dato’ Ahmad Zaharin Bin who said: “The MBSA Anugerah Rendah Karbon awards aim to promote creative and innovative culture towards low carbon-oriented environment among organisations and communities in Shah Alam. 

It is also an MBSA initiative to reward individuals and organisations committed to implementing green initiatives towards sustainable and low-carbon development”.
