Low Carbon City Award 2018

NEAPOLI’s project PKNS Headquarters received the prestigious Low Carbon City Award 2018 at the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP) Awards for Planning Excellence held in The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The Low Carbon City Award recognises projects that implement low carbon city initiatives promoted within the Malaysian Government’s Low Carbon Cities Framework (LCCF) 2011. It aims to highlight initiatives that demonstrate efforts in implementing LCCF and illustrate how the initiatives have helped reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Congratulating PKNS for the award NEAPOLI’s CEO Dr Stellios Plainiotis noted: “At NEAPOLI, our primary mission is to help clients become outstanding environmental changemakers. This honour is proof that by recommending approaches to reduce utility bills of buildings and improve the well-being of their occupants, we are also shaping low carbon cities”.

“I’m proud that our project is recognised for an award I very much believe in, and even prouder knowing our clients are feeling the positive effects developing sustainable high performance spaces” said Prof Hans Weemaes, Managing Director of NEAPOLI in Kuala Lumpur.
