Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the TRX Office is a high-performance commercial development targeting LEED certification. The project emphasizes sustainability through energy-efficient HVAC and lighting systems, low-emitting materials, and water-saving fixtures. Its high-performance building envelope, featuring low U-value glazing and insulation, reduces energy demand while supporting occupant comfort. Accessibility to public transit and strategies to mitigate the heat island effect further strengthen its sustainable site design. The development also prioritizes indoor environmental quality through enhanced ventilation, low-VOC materials, and ample daylighting. A Construction Waste Management Plan was implemented to divert waste from landfill, complemented by careful material selection favoring recycled, regional, and certified products. Finally, the commissioning of building systems ensures that performance and efficiency targets are met, solidifying the project as a benchmark for green commercial spaces in Malaysia.
