In collaboration with Think City, a Malaysian foundation aiming to rejuvenate urban centers in the country, we have conducted simulations on key locations in the city. Through design decisions which involves a mix of passive and active design, key projects are designed to be comfortable for usage without being energy intensive. Factors such as direct/indirect solar radiation, stack ventilation, shading, ground material, and air-permeability are tried and simulated to visualize their effects on site, and to see where design improvements can be made to make life easier and more comfortable to urban dwellers.
