Located at the Riverwalk, the Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts School at Desaru Coast aims to develop and nurture the hospitality industry of Malaysia. Collaborating with one of t most reputable private education institutions i the country, Taylor’s University, the school w provide world-class teaching facilities and off internationally accredited programmes to cultivate a talent pool of professionals in the hospitality industry worldwide.

The proposed new Taylor’s University in Desaru Coast aimed to become the first University project in Malaysia with dual GBI and LEED Certification by the US Green Building Council. Targeting Platinum under LEED the proposed School features 181,000 square feet of high-  tech classrooms, art labs, offices, and spaces for professional training centres. Green features of the building include:

1. Cross and stack ventilation to enhance the energy performance of the building
2. Improved acoustic performance that effectively contribute to a better communication between teachers and students
3. Natural lighting is used throughout the building
4. Reduced water consumption by 55% over the base case
