Located on Level 38 of the iconic PNB 118 in Kuala Lumpur – one of the world’s few developments with three Platinum green building certifications, the new Bank of America office showcases the bank’s next-generation workplace in Malaysia. Targeting LEED ID+C v4.1 Platinum, the fit-out reflects global ESG commitments, emphasizing high environmental performance, occupant wellbeing, and sustainability leadership.
The flexible, future-ready design features open-plan areas, meeting rooms, and collaboration zones optimized for daylight, indoor air quality, and acoustic comfort. Performance highlights include 40% indoor water savings, advanced energy metering, and ACMV efficiency exceeding ASHRAE 90.1 by up to 30%, with potential renewable energy integration and Green-e certified power. Indoor air quality is enhanced through MERV 13 filtration, ventilation 15% above ASHRAE 62.1, natural ventilation, and CO₂ monitoring. Lighting design ensures glare control, CRI ≥90, and individual controls for 90% of occupants.
The project aims to divert over 75% of construction waste, implement green cleaning and composting, and conduct pre-occupancy air quality testing. Its location near Merdeka MRT and Hang Tuah monorail, paired with reduced parking, supports low-carbon commuting.
This new PNB 118 office showcases Bank of America’s commitment to high-performance, climate-conscious design and global sustainability leadership.
