PKNS Headquarters receives GBI Platinum Certification

Green Building Index (GBI) has concluded the final Completion & Verification Assessment review for the new Headquarters of the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS HQ) and awarded Platinum certification, the highest level of recognition for GBI Green Buildings.  According to Stellios Plainiotis, CEO of NEAPOLI “We are extremely proud of this exceptional result, which can be attributed to the remarkable work done by the design team, the willingness of the tenants to adhere to our environmental programs and the commitment of the owner PKNS to maximise environmental performance. This certification is in keeping with the values adopted by PKNS, which has prioritised sustainable development in its efforts to build healthy and sustainable communities for more than 50 years.” PKNS HQ’s sustainable building management focuses on energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions, waste diversion, water conservation and maintaining a healthy working environment in the properties that it manages.
