We are pleased to announce that in August 2024, the NOVARTIS Headquarters in Malaysia has officially been awarded the prestigious WELL GOLD certification by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). This milestone places the NOVARTIS Headquarters in Malaysia among the first batch of projects in the country—and the first NOVARTIS facility globally—to achieve WELL certification, reflecting our commitment to creating spaces that prioritize health, well-being, and sustainability.
This achievement follows the LEED Gold certification awarded to the NOVARTIS Headquarters in 2022. NEAPOLI is proud to have contributed to both of these significant milestones, reinforcing our dedication to environmental responsibility and occupant well-being.
Ergonomics & Movement: The NOVARTIS Headquarters has been carefully designed with ergonomic principles in mind, offering height-adjustable desks and ergonomic seating that promote comfort and reduce the risk of strain. Additionally, the building layout encourages movement through active design strategies, such as accessible staircases and walking paths, fostering a healthier work environment.
Air Quality: Superior indoor air quality is ensured through advanced HVAC filtration systems, including HEPA and activated carbon filters, which effectively remove pollutants and maintain a clean, healthy atmosphere. Continuous monitoring allows for real-time adjustments to maintain optimal conditions.
Circadian Lighting: The lighting system at NOVARTIS is designed to support the natural circadian rhythms of its occupants. By mimicking natural daylight cycles, the lighting reduces fatigue and enhances alertness and productivity throughout the day.
