In August 8th, a peer reviewed paper co-authored by NEAPOLI was presented at the Building Simulation 2017 Conference in San Francisco. The presentation introduced a new method of thermal comfort simulation and optimisation developed by NEAPOLI and its application at NEAPOLI’s Green Mark Platinum Master Planning Project Paya Lebar Centreal in Singapore.
The Building Simulation is the largest building simulation conference in the world. It is a biennial meeting of the International Building Performance Simulation Association that brings together practitioners and researchers from around the world to share information about the state of the art in simulation tools and applications and to discuss new developments.
Building Simulation 2017 featured updates and insights regarding new research to improve simulation capabilities for advanced low-energy building systems, case studies from successful projects that demonstrate the key role that simulation plays, and ongoing efforts to enable compliance and building rating software to support radiant and other energy efficient systems.
