Dr Stellios Plainiotis of NEAPOLI will be sharing his expertise in Sustainable Masterplanning.
Building on the success of last year’s „Green Arc Lecture Series I, 2010“, Alliance Francaise Kuala Lumpur, the Goethe-Institut, and the University Kuala Lumpur decided to continue the „Green Arc Lecture Series“ as a strategic educational program with the following aims:
• to raise general awareness among the general public about the importance of sustainable development and green building,
• to exemplify to the (future) academics and professionals in the building industry what the concepts and applications of green building can be like
• to raise issues and generate discussion of sustainable development which places its emphasis on urban conservation and preservation
In the context of this new lecture course and in review of last year’s „Green Affordable Housing Competition“ the Alliance Francaise organizes an exhibition of design entries in their Institute from 7th to 24th September.
