NEAPOLI's Fauzi becomes LEED Operation & Maintenance accredited professional

Kuala Lumpur, April 8th 2021. Fauzi Amrin of NEAPOLI became a LEED Operation & Maintenance Accredited Professional.

LEED ® for Operations & Maintenance (LEED O&M)  rating system helps building owners and operators measure operations, upgrades and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximising operational efficiency while minimising environmental impacts. LEED O&M addresses workspace and whole-building cleaning and maintenance issues (including chemical use), recycling programs, exterior maintenance programs, and systems upgrades.

LEED accredited professionals understand green building practices and principles and are familiar with LEED requirements, resources and processes. Fauzi will lend his LEED AP expertise to the entire NEAPOLI service area from the Kuala Lumpur office and complement the existing team of LEED APs on Building Design + Construction (BD+C), Interior Design + Construction (ID+C).

Fauzi joined NEAPOLI in 2019 with professional and academic experience in environmental engineering. His experience includes working on the development of the new Petronas East Coast Headquarters (Petronas KOP) and the new extension of the Penang International Airport. As project engineer for NEAPOLI, he advises design teams and developers on the impact of a development on the environment and on design considerations to meet green building standards.

He also develops and manages documentation for green building standards, prepares engineering studies and reports, develops project design criteria, manages and administers sustainable construction contracts during bidding/construction, and ensures that the client is kept informed.
