Camtronics Sdn Bhd (“CAMTRONICS”), a market-leading designer and manufacturer of innovative integrated circuit products has achieved LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certification for its headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Kluang, Malaysia.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the most widely used green building rating system in the world and an international symbol of excellence. Through design, construction and operations practices that improve environmental and human health, LEED-certified buildings are helping to make the world more sustainable.

“Given the extraordinary importance of climate protection and the central role buildings play in that effort, CAMTRONICS is creating a path forward through their LEED certification,” said Dr Stellios Plainiotis NEAPOLI’s CEO.  CAMTRONICS achieved LEED certification for implementing measurable strategies to ensure its building is operating at a high level of sustainability. The company applied practical solutions to several areas in the building, including implementing energy-efficient systems, reducing environmental impact through the adoption of a sustainable operations policy, installing efficient water management devices, and improving indoor air quality by installing enhanced filtration systems.
